Terms of Service

Chatlnked connects Discord and Telegram communities. These terms explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how the service should be used.

1. Description of Service

Welcome to Chatlnked. Chatlnked provides a message-relay integration that helps users sync messages between Discord and Telegram.

You understand that Chatlnked acts as a technical conduit. We do not originate the messages relayed through the service, and we do not monitor message content except as technically necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, or maintain the service.

2. User Accounts and Security

  • Eligibility: You must be a human user to create and manage a Chatlnked account. Automated creation of user profiles is prohibited.
  • Authentication: You may create or access an account through supported third-party providers, such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of those credentials.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate account, contact, and billing information where required.
  • Account responsibility: You are responsible for activity that occurs through your Chatlnked account and connected platform permissions.

3. Proper Use and Conduct

By using Chatlnked, you represent and warrant that:

  • Authorization: You have the legal right and necessary permissions to connect the specific Discord servers, Discord channels, Telegram groups, Telegram chats, or Telegram topics you configure with the service.
  • Platform compliance: Your use of Chatlnked will not violate the terms, rules, policies, or platform requirements of Discord or Telegram.
  • Legal use: You will not use the service to transmit illegal, defamatory, abusive, infringing, or otherwise harmful material.
  • No abuse: You will not use Chatlnked for spam, harassment, credential abuse, evasion, botting, scraping, or unauthorized automation.

Important: Chatlnked connects conversations across platforms. It does not give you permission to access communities, servers, groups, channels, or topics that you are not authorized to manage or connect.

4. Message Content and Short-Term Storage

  • Temporary processing: Chatlnked processes message content to relay messages between connected Discord and Telegram destinations.
  • Short-term storage: Message content may be stored for up to 60 minutes to support relay behavior, including message editing.
  • No archive service: Chatlnked is not a backup, recordkeeping, discovery, or archival service. Once the short-term processing window expires, message content is purged and cannot be recovered by us.
  • Formatting differences: Discord and Telegram do not support identical formatting, media behavior, permissions, or platform features. We are not responsible for differences in how relayed messages appear on the destination platform.

5. Fees, Trials, and Payments

  • Paid plans: If you choose a paid tier, you agree to provide valid billing information and authorize payment for the selected plan.
  • Payment processing: Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Chatlnked does not store full payment card details.
  • Trials and limits: Trial or complimentary access may include time limits, usage limits, feature limits, or other restrictions.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation options available in your account or through support. Access to paid features may continue through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our property: Chatlnked’s interface, code, branding, design, website content, service structure, and related materials are owned by Chatlnked or its licensors.
  • Your content: We claim no ownership over the text, media, or other content you relay through Chatlnked.
  • Limited license: You grant Chatlnked a limited, temporary license to process, transmit, and display relayed content solely as needed to provide and operate the service.

7. Service Availability and Limitation of Liability

Chatlnked is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Service interruptions, delays, or degraded performance.
  • Outages, API changes, policy changes, restrictions, or failures caused by Discord, Telegram, hosting providers, payment providers, or other third-party services.
  • Loss of data, messages, access, configuration, or community activity.
  • Account restrictions, bans, rate limits, or moderation actions imposed by Discord, Telegram, or other platforms.
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Chatlnked if we believe your use of the service violates these terms, creates risk for Chatlnked or other users, violates platform rules, causes operational harm, or is otherwise abusive or unlawful.

You may stop using Chatlnked at any time. Some account, billing, legal, security, or operational records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we may post a notice on our website, update the effective date, or contact you using the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of Chatlnked after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
