Chatlnked collects only the information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, operate, and bill for the service.

• Account information: We may collect your name and email address when you create an account or sign in through a supported third-party login provider.
• Authentication information: If you use Google sign-in, we receive the basic account information you authorize Google to share, such as your name and email address.
• Billing information: If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment details are processed by our payment provider. Chatlnked does not store your full credit card number.
• Platform connection data: To relay messages, Chatlnked stores the technical identifiers, permissions, tokens, and configuration details needed to connect your selected Discord and Telegram destinations.
• Operational data: We may process logs, timestamps, account status, usage counts, and diagnostic details needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and support the service.

2. Message Content and Short-Term Storage

The core function of Chatlnked is to relay messages between connected Discord and Telegram destinations.

• Temporary processing: Message content is processed so it can be delivered to the destination platform.
• Short-term storage: Message content may be stored for up to 60 minutes to support relay behavior, including message editing.
• Deletion: After the short-term processing window, message content is purged from our database.
• No message archive: Chatlnked is not designed to provide searchable history, message backup, discovery, or long-term archiving.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain Chatlnked, including to:

• Authenticate users and manage accounts.
• Connect authorized Discord and Telegram destinations.
• Relay messages between configured platforms.
• Support message-edit behavior during the short-term storage window.
• Process billing, subscriptions, trials, and plan limits.
• Detect abuse, prevent unauthorized use, and protect the service.
• Diagnose technical issues, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
• Send service-related notices, account updates, billing notices, and important operational communications.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share or transmit information only where needed to provide, secure, bill for, or operate the service.

• Discord and Telegram: Chatlnked transmits message content and related technical data to the connected platform APIs as required to perform the relay service.
• Authentication providers: If you sign in with a third-party provider, such as Google, that provider helps authenticate your account.
• Payment providers: Paid subscriptions may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
• Infrastructure and security providers: We may use hosting, monitoring, logging, email, anti-abuse, or security vendors to operate and protect the service.
• Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate abuse, or to protect users, platforms, or the public.

5. Data Retention

• User profile data: Retained while your account is active or as needed for billing, legal, security, operational, or support reasons.
• Connection settings: Retained while your Discord and Telegram connection remains configured or as needed to operate the service.
• Message content: Automatically purged after the short-term processing window, up to 60 minutes.
• Operational records: Logs, billing records, security records, account status, and diagnostic records may be retained for a reasonable period where needed to operate the service or meet legal obligations.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information associated with your account.

You may also stop using Chatlnked, disconnect platform integrations, cancel paid service, or request account deletion where available.

Because Chatlnked does not store relayed message content beyond the short-term processing window, most requests involving historical message content cannot be fulfilled after that content has already been purged.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards designed to protect Chatlnked accounts, platform connection data, and service infrastructure.

No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account credentials, third-party login providers, Discord permissions, Telegram permissions, and connected communities.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we may post a notice on our website, update the effective date, or contact you using the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of Chatlnked after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of the service.
